Hey Folks-

New to this board, but hooked a Giant LM Bass on Friday afternoon - 3 times! Yet lost her each time....

My question is - any chance she'll still be on or near the bed and catchable tomorrow (Monday morning)

I had seen her near the bed on Thursday, then pretty close to locked in on Friday with a male, but don't think she had laid eggs yet....

What are the chances she'll still be there on Monday?

Thanks-

BEN

Absolutely worth another look since it is impossible to know how long she'll be on the bed and the only way to know for sure is give the bed another look.

Depends on what stage of the spawn she is in. From the sound of your post she is in the process of being locked on the bed. I would try again and keep trying until you no longer get the bite. May be several more days. She will hang around to guard the fry a while so don't give up.

If she isn't, I would look for the closest cover near the bed. A dock, brush, clump of grass, a slight drop infront of her bed ect....
