I ment Charlie down in florida where I live . He was doing a show at my bosses fish farm. When i talked to him he was nothin but respectful I think he just acts like that on tv

It's OK, but there are far better shows.  He's more fun to watch to see what he can do next to look silly.

"The Codfather" was a funny idea though....plus he's from Boston, like me, so how bad can he be.

I think it's all about personality. I am not an Ike fan but I certainly respect him and what he has done. Charlie is annoying for sure, but guess what. People are talking about him. Like him or hate him he is what he is. A television PERSONALITY.

When he had his older shows on NESN they were not bad to watch during the winter and he wasn't as annoying. I give him credit because he is a New England guy who worked his way up and now is on ESPN2. The only problem I have with him is his "always to busy" schedule or says he will be at certain events and never shows. He pulled this a couple years ago at a charity fundraiser.

Met that guy up on Winni and he was the biggest jerk until the cameras started rolling. Then he was the nicest guy going. Go figure.

I like it when he has guests fishing with him. Other than that he gets to be annoying after a few minutes.

I live in New Hampshire and I have heard that Charlie is a great guy. I have never heard anyone who is aquainted with Charlie at all say a bad word about him. He spends a lot of time helping youngsters get started in fishing etc.

Frankly, I can't stand his program. If he is fishing a lake I fish I usually watch a part of the program with the sound muted. To me fishing is an quiet hobby and we might go the better part of a morning with only a few words. I do get a bit burnt with Charlie when he stands holding a fish by the lower jaw while he pontificates on and on!

Jersey Bassin- Saturday mornings here in New England, pretty early,like 8-30 or so I think.

LakeAnna- Nobody is too rich to care about $$. A mistake like that can cost you sponsorship and also keep potential future sponsors from participating.

Cajun1977- By "brown Nosers", do you mean the people who like his show for what it is??? I'm wondering, because those were the people that stood up for the show and it's also the reason why, because they like it, not because they were looking to get something from Mike,...not sure where you pulled THAT one from???

Also,. if someone LIKES "Lunkerville" and DOES NOT like "Beat Charlie Moore", this does not make said person a "Hypocrite". Sorry, but,...look it up before using such a word.

BocaBasser- Supporting the people that make this forum possible is something we believe in,.....being a member on this FREE forum, I would think you would too. Your comment makes you appear rather inconsiderate if you ask me.

As for Charlie Moore himself, everyone is entitled to their opinions, respect them please.

When they are talking about the same thing,...yes,..when they are talking about 2 completely different things, absolutely not.  Are we talking about the same show? No.  2 completely different shows.  I can't explain it any simpler.

Furthermore
