Olebiker Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 You know what I like about his videos? He doesn't need a $30,000 Ranger to catch these monster bass. Quote
Fish Chris Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 neither do I :-) I'm fishing out of my dreamboat right now.... Peace, Fish PS, Not only do I believe that those 50K glitter rockets are not much help, but in many cases, they are actually a hendrance, to sticking big bass. If you gave me one today, I'd sell it half off, just to get rid of it fast. Quote
Tokyo Tony Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 That's a huge bass, and he landed it faster than it takes me to land a 3 pounder :-? Fish Chris - that's a sweet rig man 8-) Quote
Olebiker Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 neither do I :-) I'm fishing out of my dreamboat right now.... You da man, Chris. I am fishing out of a 24 year old Bass Tracker and having the time of my life. I fish cheap. Quote
Popeye Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 Fish Chris: that's an awesome rig you have. That's really ALL you need to get to where the bass are. Quote
bmadd Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 FishChris-if you ever win one of those fancy bass rigs...contact me first. I'd love to take it off your hands for half price ;D Quote

Fish Chris Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 you must make LOTS more money, and / or fish a lot closer to home than I do ! Heck, I can barely afford the gas for a 4 cyl Toyota and my 25hp outboard, (for my 120 to 140 full days of fishing, a year) as it is. One of those big high-per bass boats, and a full size V-8 truck to pull it, would cut my fishing down by at least 3/4's...... which would be a HUGE detriment to my fishing, and is completely unacceptable. But anyway, sure ! If I win one, I'll be glad to hook you up :-) Peace, Fish Quote
Super User WRB Posted April 4, 2008 Author Super User Posted April 4, 2008 Butch is a CA trophy bass fisherman and has been vedio taping his trips for sometime in the event he catches a world record bass. Keep in mind when you view this tape that Butch's goal is to catch the bass and put it the boat as quickly as possible to prevent loosing the fish. http://www.huddlestondeluxe.com/generic75.html'>http://www.huddlestondeluxe.com/generic75.html You may never see another bass this big on video agian, unless Butch catches a 20+ giant bass. It's very rare for a trophy fisherman to tape what they do. Thank you Butch for sharing this vedio tape for everyone to enjoy the experience. deepsessions Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 Butch is the man! he is one of the few trophy hunters that doesn't bed fish and can still stroke them! a well deserved catch. What is that fish like #902? Quote

LooksLikeSinbad Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 BTW, what's up with the blotchy, pixelated video quality ? Chris - I know your into photography: the video compression is just like jpg compression on an image. JPG's compress image data and make the image file smaller. In order to make a video load faster and play smoother the file size has to be reduced through video (and audio) compression. Believe it or not, that quality is actually not too bad for web-based video. Quote
Super User WRB Posted April 11, 2008 Author Super User Posted April 11, 2008 Butch only has a small computer video cam mounted in the back seat location. We are lucky he shares his video clips. WRB Quote
