Blue Streak Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 There is a small lake in this area where I used to catch a whole lot of bass on the Berkley 7 inch power worm with the hook or sickle tail, color camo. Of course they discontinued that particular bait but still make them in the four inch version. I ran out and can't find them anywhere. Does anyone have any that they would want to get rid of? Or does anyone know who might still have them? Thanks in advance. Quote
tyrius. Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 http://www.***.com/descpageSFWBERKLEY-BPW4.html# I'd personally just change colors and fish with the 7" or the 10". Quote
Super User KYntucky Warmouth Posted March 3, 2009 Super User Posted March 3, 2009 Berkley makes a watermelon purple red color that looks close to the camo color...maybe Quote
Super User CWB Posted March 3, 2009 Super User Posted March 3, 2009 Check out Zoom's G-Tail. Zoom has every color under the sun. Quote
Blue Streak Posted March 3, 2009 Author Posted March 3, 2009 Thanks for the suggestions everyone, but it has to be That particular worm, nothing else worked as well. The four inch worm at Tackle Warehouse is it but three inches too short. Quote

If you're that particular about the color then buy a bunch of 4" ones and cut the front off of half of them and glue the cut part onto the front of the non-cut ones and you can get a 7" version. Mend-it or some other soft bait glue would work the best. I still think you're making too much out of the specific color. Quote
Super User KYntucky Warmouth Posted March 3, 2009 Super User Posted March 3, 2009 I've never fished there but I don't think they are that specific...have you ever fished anything else? You should through a blue senko Quote
Blue Streak Posted March 3, 2009 Author Posted March 3, 2009 .have you ever fished anything else Of course I have, I have been fishing that lake for over 50 years and I have used about every bait and color you can imagine. The Berkley camo works on that lake it is THE hot color. I wish I could take you guys out for a day of side by side fishing and let you see for yourselves. Thanks for the suggestions. :-/ Quote

Super User KYntucky Warmouth Posted March 4, 2009 Super User Posted March 4, 2009 My dad swears that the best bait for our local lake is a junebag power worm...granted it works well but there have been many times i have caught fish on melon BPS tender tubes and baby bass kinami flash when he can't get bit...no where near his color or presentation. Ern Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 I would keep an eye on pure fishing's clearance site: FFO. Seem's like the camo color was on there last summer. Also check ebay. Ern Quote
