That's good advice fishin_fool.  Could you imagine a day with KVD, IKE, or Skeet Reese?   I personally would love to rock out with the G-Man for a day.

Great advice.

I don't have the resume that the bass coach probably has but I would be happy to take you out on Champlain for a day sometime late spring or summer.  When are you going to be in the area?

I would like to thank everyone who replied to this post. I thought that there was so much good advice on this post. I already sent in my deposit, just before I posted it. I should have asked before I did so but that is my lost. I am going to go anyway and find out how it is. I wil post my experiences and findings when I get back. I am going on May 26,27 & 28. One thing I did not mention is that he has writen articals on this web site and also the PROBASS web site. The teacher's name is Roger L Brown aka ( The Bass coach). Thank you all so very much and I will be asking qustions and posting on this web for years to come.

THANK YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  ::) :)

Good luck Bass Novice, be sure to bring a notebook and a pen.

For the nay sayers, I don't know what Randall, George, and whomever else guides from BR rates are.  I'm not asking either.

A quick google search has shown an average price of 375$ for 8 hours of guide services.  This comes out to 1,125 $ for three days.  Roger Brown is asking 1,200$ for three days.

Roger Brown is an established guide/coach on a great fishery.  What's an extra 75 bones if you're making that kind of investment on a fishing trip anyways?

I bet you will learn a lot and have a great time with the coach.  Let us know how it goes.   :)  If you want to go out later in the summer PM me.  I do not live far form Champlain.  Maybe you could show me some of the coach's techniques  ;)

I'm new to fishing and I've learned a lot from the people at BR, I don't think you can learn that much in 3 days a lot of variables with fishing no water is the same. I've found that you have to just get out there and find your own style.

Research this site for 3 days instead.  You'll learn more from the articles and posts here and have $1200 left to buy some NICE rods, reels and tackle.

There are lots of guys here (me included) that would be more than happy to talk shop with you and teach you the basics.  All you have to do is ask!

Two words for ya...   HELL NO!

I'll meet you anywhere in S. Florida for a week and teach you plenty to get you started for , lets say $800?

I'll supply ALL tackle, rods, reels
