im trying to decide on a swimbait to buy and ive come down to three that im really interested in. THe spro BBZ-1 4 inch, the tru tungsten tru life swimbait and also the jackall swimming ninja.

I've seen both the BBZ-1 and tru tungsten swimbaits demonstrated at my local bass pro on saturday, but i don't know anything about the jackall. does anyone have an experience with it? and would u recommend it?

I wouldn't want either of those baits. Get a 6" Hud, but if you want a hard bait I would go with a 6" blemished punker at ***.

I would not get the Ninja.  I have never fished one but the reports of when Kota used it on Amistad said that fish tore them up pretty fast and for $20, I would want a more durable bait.  Just my 2 cents.

The ninja works well for pike and it was still in one piece after I caught the fish. Haven't caught any bass with it yet.

It sounds like your on a tight budget. I would go with a hardbait. The Spro 4in is bigger and more of a bait for quality fish not mosters but bigger fish. The 4in trutungsten is the size for just catching fish any size. I would get one of these depending on if you want something to catch big fish or something you can just go throw everyday. Before you get a 6in huddleston or any bigger swimbait you need a rod bigger than your average bass rod to throw it. And my guess is you dont have one.

As a fellow Kentucky boy I probably know a little about where your fishing. Let me know where you fish and I might make a suggestion.

That is the Japanese ninja with a Hudd/wedge tail. The Ninjas that are availible here have a boot tail. Not saying anything about catching abilities or durability just pointing out that they changed the baits that they are selling here.

The ninjas here have a paddle tail type tail. So they swim more like good paddle tail type baits. They also swim with the nose way down at slow speeds and not level like a ROF 5 Hudds. They are very durable for a soft bait though. They are made from a very durable floating plastic. Not saying they are bad baits either but the bait is different from the one T-Rig has.

If you are on a budget I would get a Reaction Strike shad bait in either the four inch or five inch instead of the Spro. They don't have the greatest finishes but they are better shad baits for less money if you ask me.  I don't really care for most Reaction Strike stuff since most of them are just copies of others baits and they make some stuff that either don't work , falls apart, or just isn't made properly but I don't use my Spro baits since getting the Reaction Strike baits. The Reaction Strike bait is just better designed and performs better. Just got to give them some credit for making a better bait this time. As for the TT bait the little Reaction Strike bluegill bait also swims much better than the TT bait if you want a tiny swimbait. I do find it funny though that Reaction Strike claims that it's the best bed bait ever.  ;D It swims nice but I can't believe they even put that on their website.  But once again I have to give them credit for making a good tiny swimbait for swimming near the surface.

Anybody have any imput on the jackall Giron?

It's a good lure that catches fish and has quality components. You don't need more than a MH rod to throw it, unlike the bigger swimbaits. It has a pretty unique action that you can see in the video on this page:

Overall I would recommend it.
