Thanks!...but none of those fish look like the one I'm talking about. These fish is a little more slender and almost looks like it has a up side down pyramids on backs....someone told me it was a northern perch...but I'm gonna get one of these swimbaits...they look very real.

Oh, wait it looks  like the east coast series...Thanks!

Bass like senkos which do not really resemble either...

Try a yo-zuri or rapala jerkbait/jointed fish...

Try to match the color with the color of the perch or sunfish

I believe the designs on the lure doesn't play a role as much in muddy water as it does in clear water.

Match the perch with perch colored crank baits, jerksbaits and spinnerbaits. Also swim jigs in perch would work. Match the hatch!

I just used my Lucky Craft RC 1.5 today in a lake with no perch and caught 4 bass in 30 min. Color was chartreuse perch. Best crankbait i've ever used by the way!

In my favorite local pond my son and I do quite well with perch pattern Shad Raps and Fat Raps. They have accounted for quite a few 6 and 7+ lb.ers which here in eastern Massachusetts is nothing to snear at. Of course, if there was a baby pickerel lure we'd probably do even better since we get two pics for every bass!

Here on St. Clair, the smallies really like perch, it's a big foodsource.

Shad Raps in perch and crawdad have been the two most productive cranks for me. Definitely worth having on hand.

Here in idaho i use plastic baits when the perch bite is on.  I will drop shot right in the middle of a school of perch and the bass that are cruising think its a dying perch and they tag it. I also use green pumpkin tubes carolina rigged.  Perch colored wiggle warts are also a great way to catch some donkey brown fish!!!
