Tokyo Tony Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 That's pretty cool man. The one thing I can't stand about him, however, is how he shoves his hands in the gills of all these bass he catches. I'm sure it doesn't harm them, but it still makes me cringe. There's no reason for it. It's like he has a gill fetish. As for Segall, no one can sit there and tell me he's not the man. I've watched him beat the sh** out of and kill hundreds of really bad people...without shedding a drop of his own blood, changing his facial expression, or changing his tone of voice. How many of you can say you've done that? Not many at all. Quote
powerman970 Posted March 26, 2008 Author Posted March 26, 2008 Wow...this thread took off. I was driving back from Memphis to Birmingham yesterday and then I spent the afternoon getting the boat ready to fish today so I didn't check the forums. I did feel like a blithering idiot for about 5 minutes but Bill has a way of making you feel at home. I got to sit and talk with him for a good while so it was not just a meet and greet but as far as picking his brain, I am almost ashamed to admit that I failed. I guess you can imagine that he did most of the talking and it was almost like seeing him film a show. He spent the entire time telling stories of funny and cool things that had happened to him over the years and I just sat and enjoyed listening to him talk. He treated me like he had known me his whole life. I got an autographed Tennessee hat out of the meeting that will definitely have a place of honor in my trophy room. I also have to say that while the guy at the gun counter said Seagal was a ****, the cashier who checked us out said he had always been really nice to her. Quote
TheBeast Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 I am not much on meeting celebrities and all that star chasin stuff, they are no better than me. But I have to admit that meeting Bill Dance is not compared with that and would be absolutely the coolest. On Seagal, my said the same thing about him being an arse, the movie Fire Down Below was filmed in her hometown. She said the rest were all great esp. Marg Helgenberger. Quote
Super User fishfordollars Posted March 26, 2008 Super User Posted March 26, 2008 Did he give you directions to any of his private stock tanks? Pretty sure I know what this is about and I totally agree. Quote
