I agree.... Dynamite is an under-utilized weapon for tough sight fishing conditions. Plus you dont waste any on dead water.

if all else fails and you got the time, there is always rotenone..

you seem to know what your talking about fly..............if you can find a secluded shoreline during a tournament a long gill net is killer, you and your partner span a shoreline, say 100 ft. and just push those babies up onto land..........foolproof

I bed fish with immediate C & R.  Personal favorite lures are 4 & 5 inch stickbaits wacky rigged. 4 inch tubes with a 1/8 oz internal wt, a 6 inch Lizard, and a 4 inch Ugly Otter or similar type creature bait.

Tubes, lizards, spark plugs, cigarette butts, whatever you got.  

In my opinion, it's much more about boat positioning, presentation, dedication, knowing the behaviorisms of the spawn cycle and focus than "what" you are dropping in there.

big difference in trolling and sarcasm.....
