rippin_lips Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 has anyone used sworming hornets fish head spinners? I saw them in Field and Streams section on best largemouth baits and was wondering if they are worth trying. If so, what are the best plastics to use as trailers for these? Thanks. Quote
SimonSays Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 RW recently posted about these hornets I think...he used a 1/2oz hornet with a Lake Fork Magic shad as a trailer...been meaning to give it a shot, looks promising. Quote
Infidel. Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 I've had good luck with them in current and when fish are chasing bait. Use a tiny fluke on the smaller sizes and a Fin-S Fish or super fluke on the larger ones. Quote
