Hawghead Posted March 1, 2008 Posted March 1, 2008 I was at that same store today. Didn't stop to chat with Denny, too busy fending off the BM. Quote
Bass XL Posted March 1, 2008 Author Posted March 1, 2008 lol yeah it was Bass Pro. Hawghead: were you at the one in St. Charles? It was PACKED earlier today at like 3. We went by it, and there was a massive line, so we just waited a couple hours. Quote
MaxDal Posted March 1, 2008 Posted March 1, 2008 Lucky you .... I'd love to get the chance to meet Denny Brauer and to have a chat with him.. he seems to be a really good guy. Definitely a top pro for me, I hope he recovers well from his surgery and I hope he has a good 2008 season. Quote

THe store was well staffed and well stocked but not crowded at all. It looked about like a typical saturday. I got my select items and got out. There was only one person ahead of me in the checkout line. I can't imagine what that place was like on saturday. Quote
ba7ss3in Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 I like catching him on tv, he's fun to watch Quote

So either they restocked A LOT of items, or people were out of luck. Me too ba7ss3in...he's got an endless amount of information packed in that head. Quote
Ifish4keeps Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 thats awesome that you met him he pretty much invented flipping and pitching Quote
MaxDal Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 Not doubt Denny Brauer is one of the jig maestros.... but I think Dee Thomas invented flipping... as for pitching I don't know whether there's an "inventor" out there or not. One day, I hope I'll get to meet Denny Brauer Quote
