I caught these guys november 4th 2007 while bass fishing in one of the harbors on Lake Erie. Sorry I am a little secretive! I caught 25+ 3 pound plus bass and my father and a friend caught about the same between them. These two big boys made my day though. Had a few more hookups with steelies but they managed to throw my crank. I was my last day out.

Every day this past week. The bass fishing has been awesome lately. The bigguns come out in winter in Florida,as long as we dont get too many nasty fronts. This winter has been exceptionally warm and average water temps being around 65 still.

My condolences and sympathies to anyone who is ice in.No joke,I would go bannanas if I moved back to Ohio now.

It was 10-2-07 at 4:35 P.M. I caught two LMB on successive casts. The first was 1.5# the next was 2.5#. Caught them on a T-Rigged Trick Worm in watermelon. Fishing logs are nice for this reason.

I hope to catch a few next week while I'm in Kissimmee, Fl.

The last tourney I fished in early December. Had 3 bass that were just barely keepers. The air temp was 16* and that was one of the coldest boat runs in my life. Also lost a nice 3 pound smallie that day. But I pulled out at about 11 because I had a bad migraine starting.

But that was my last memory of bass fishing, I'm just happy I caught them all pitching a jig :)

January 11th, 2008.  It also marked the first time that I had caught a fish in 12 consecutive months!  Now that the ponds and lakes that I fish are iced over February might be tough to continue the streak.

But what a day to remember first bass was 10. 66, second bass 10.89, third bass 8.99 for a 3 bass total of 30.54 & finished with a total of 8 more between 3 & 5 lbs.
