Hey post a review when you get that far. As having a lot of experience with several brands you should make for a pretty good read.

I forget my tittle ( something originating with from slip bobber blunders lol )but...

  welcome to Mookville

It's a nice enough reel.  Going to take a lot to equal up to the Citica.

I'll put it through it's paces.  Got plenty of nekkid rods in need of clothing.  ;)

I didn't buy this one.   :-?

Went out to get the mail, found a box with a reel and a CD of 70s hippy music.

Still trying to figure out what the white powder is.  ;D

Boy oh boy.. I wish the box gods would drop me a couple of boxes in the mail..  Not even brand specific....  a 3' x 4' box with lots of slim green pieces of paper marked with a 100 on them would be awesome..  LMAO...

Seriously though let us know what you think of it when you try it...

Burley, I have owned and used my pfluger trion now for 3 years and even though i own mostly ambassaduer I will say that after putting it through complete H***. I have not once had to take it down for repairs and it casts like the day I bought it. The one thing I will say is that the centrifugal drags should be kept lightly oiled from time to time, i imagine you know when to do so. My reel always told me when. My only regret with this reel is that i didn't buy two. I feel like you'll enjoy your trion as much as I have enjoyed mine.

Peter

oh by the way, the powder is great on eggs.

i have a pflueger trion UL spinning reel and rod. its pretty nice. the reel was great till i dropped it when i was walking home from fishing on a hilly dirt path thru the woods, and i fell on my face going up a hill ;D bent the bail to hell and it took a few hours of elbow grease to locate the problems and fix them (whole bunch of dirt got inside and messed stuff up). but now that i fixed it its good as new except the bail is kinda sticky to close sometimes.

Have the same reel. Love it....actually I like it a lot more than my 6735 President.

I too like the Pflueger reels. I have a Supreme, President, and Trion spinning reel and one of the new Patriarch BC reels but I haven't had the chance to actually use them yet. I have been thinking about going out this Sunday.

The last "box" that arrived at my door from the BM was my new Dyna-King Barracuda Deluxe fly tying vise that I also hope to start using soon:o)
