Fish Man Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 to small to get on the scale, barely big enough to get my thumb in his mouth Quote

Waterwolves Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 I know it is hard to believe but Colorado does grow some pigs! Drop shotting can really produce some big fish. Now that I look back on it I should have taken her hom and put her in the tank. Quote
thetr20one Posted January 25, 2008 Posted January 25, 2008 Caught one the size of burley's on a lucky craft jerkbait. It had the entire size 4 rear treble in it's mouth. Talk about delicate removal! Quote
BassResource.com Advertiser FD. Posted January 25, 2008 BassResource.com Advertiser Posted January 25, 2008 caught 2 in a row this size Quote
Bob Kavanaugh Posted January 25, 2008 Posted January 25, 2008 I foul hooked several threadfin shad this year pulling lures through schools of them. Smallest legal fish wasn't too much bigger than the jitterbug he hit. Crazy smallmouth. Quote
TruflShufl Posted January 26, 2008 Posted January 26, 2008 I don't feel so silly now. My smallest was like 11-12". Quote

Korea_Bassin Posted January 27, 2008 Posted January 27, 2008 Here's my smallest (recorded) catch.... (notice how it is thrust towards the camera for the "full sized effect"?) I did catch one smaller than this on a 1/2 oz. Rat-L-Trap that was only SLIGHTLY larger than the lure. I don't have that photo available right now due to a crashed hard drive, but it's a great pic. Maybe I'll get that hard drive recovered some day. Quote
Super User .dsaavedra. Posted January 27, 2008 Super User Posted January 27, 2008 korea_bassin that is a very good example of trick photography. that fish really does look as if its 10-12" long, and its hard to estimate how long it realy is! your hand is huge next to it so i'd have to say its around 6". ba7ss3in Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 I had one hit the end of a Zoom French Fry and it lodged in its mouth. he could not shake it free. Quote
