give them to somebody who can use them, or re-finish them, or re-finish them then give them to somebody.

There are plenty of youth organizations that would love to have tackle donated. Check with your local Boy/Girl Scout units, Sportsman's clubs and other civic groups in your area. Just specify that they are intended specifically for young fisherman!

Well, I don't give away stuff that doesn't work. Unless someone

specifically wants lures to fix up, I wouldn't give those away either.

If you wouldn't use it, throw it away.

I guess you wouldn't be interested in my Fat Ikas then.  One mans trash is another mans treasure!   :D

I have a few that I took the hooks off and use them as practice plugs for honing my casting skills.

Take the hooks off of them and use them to practice flippin and pitchin.

Just how old are they?  Before you trash or give away anything, you should check to see if they are valuable from a collector's perspective.  You appear to be a young whippersnapper, however, so "old" may be 5 or 6 years.

Take the hooks off. They make great key chains for the boat, lawn mower, etc..

Or hang them from a few feet of line to make slap-toys for my cat!
