Did anyone check out Kim Stricker's new show. I caught it yesturday on Versus. I believe it was called Hook N Look; the name is actually quite fitting, they spent half the show actually scuba diving in the lakes they were fishing showing you the structure and fish. AWESOME footage. ;D

Yes! Saw it last weekend for the first time. Pretty good show. Not sure if 1/2 of it is always going to be about promoting their underwater videos or not though? I like uw vids mind you - just that I don't care for it as a means to sell me something. The title of the show makes me a bit leary. Hook n' Look: 1/2 program of fishing n' 1/2 program of sales pitch? I could be wrong. I'll check it out again this weekend and see.

I missed it this week, but I'll be watching it next week. I love his videos............a unique view of the underworld.

By the way, welcome to the best fishing site on the net.

Yeah I am a bass fishing buddy of Kim's, I have helped him out a few times on the water as a camera boat driver.  You should see the amount to time and effort they put into making these fishing shows....  Where most fishing shows take half a day to film, Kim and his son Danny put in 2-3 days on and in the water.  Keep watching the show because I know of that they do a drift dive in the current of the St. Clair River, and actually get strike shots from below.... Great stuff

Hey Redlinerobert, If you love Peacock Bass. Stricker's last show he filmed was in the Miami canals, peacock bass fishing.  I heard it was some pretty cool fishing.  I wonder when that show will air, Versus only has the first two months of scheduled shows; I'll try to keep you posted.

Thats the one I saw. They caught some nice spots and the underwater footage was great. I'd watch it again.

I caught the show about spots at Lake Lanier, and there was some cool underwater footage.  I was kind of unimpressed though just because I would have loved to see underwater footage of the fish striking the lures.  I love those clips on Angling Edge.  Hopefully this week's episode at Amistad will show some of that type of footage...

I caught the very end of the Amistad one this morning.

Only saw about the last 7 minutes. It's now scheduled to be DVR'ed everytime it's on.
