hammer84 Posted January 1, 2008 Posted January 1, 2008 I just finished reading Basing with the Pros. It has a different pro and presentation each chapter. It was a good read but the first few chapters were very basic stuff about fishing in general but the rest of the book was good. Quote

Advanced Bass Fishing- John Weiss 2. Fishing on the Edge- Mike Iaconelli 3. Kevin VanDam's Bass Strategies- Kevin VanDam 4. Kevin VanDam Secrets of a Champion- Kevin VanDam 5. Sowbelly- Monte Burke 6. Buck Perry's books seem good from what people hear (site listed below) http://www.buckperry.com/product_info.php?cPath=122&products_id=1231 Quote
Dean Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 I highly recomend Big Bass Zone by Bill Siemantel. I recieved this book for christmas, and it was recommened as great by a bunch of other people. So i started reading it a couple nights ago, ANDS ITS AWESOME! It teaches you how to fish bigger baits for bigger fish. Hint Hint the title bass zone. Its kind of a pricey book, but it deserves a spot in any fishermans library. Quote
Super User Marty Posted January 4, 2008 Super User Posted January 4, 2008 Hey guys does anyone know of any good bass fishing books to hold me over until the ice thaws out. You might take a look at Knowing Bass, by Keith A. Jones, PhD. This is not a how-to book, but a book that is mainly about how a bass's senses work and how it responds to various conditions and stimuli. Quote
Super User Bassin_Fin@tic Posted January 4, 2008 Super User Posted January 4, 2008 Bass Wisdom by Uncle Homer Circle. Its just an all around good read.Has a little of everything.I ended up finishing it cover to cover in one sitting one cold windy day when I couldnt go fish. Quote
Bassnajr Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Hey, I'm reading Iaconelli's book and "BASS! proven stratergies, skills and secrets for catching more and bigger largemouth bass". (Shady Oak Press). It gives alot of common sense stuff but some interseting stuff too. ajr Quote
Joel W Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 "Largemouth Bass An In-Fisherman Handbook of Strategies" Best LM fishing book I've ever read. And I read it over and over as it's setup as a reference guide. Quote
