Super User Matt Fly Posted December 11, 2007 Super User Posted December 11, 2007 I define a dink as to the set up of the rod. Obviously, if you have 100 lb braid and a grass rake for a rod with a 10 inch swim bait and the bass is ten inches thats a dink. So I think type of rod and setup and the lake you are on determines if its a dink. After all, at the Classic in Pittsburg, it appeared to be a dink a thon. On Fork, a 3 lber is a chunk, but close to being a dink!!!!!! Quote

Super User Tin Posted December 11, 2007 Super User Posted December 11, 2007 Don't hear the term dink too much, it's usually always "rats". Maybe it is a RI thing. But anyway a rat or dink is anything under a pound and a half, b/c a pound an a half fish is usually the average fish up here. Quote
