Guest avid Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 I get a full screen view on ie7 but on mozilla, my preferred browser i still have to scroll. I have the resolution set at 1280x1064, i cleared the cache, my norton protection does not include ad pop up blocker so it is not active, I added Bassresource.com as an exception to my firefox toolbar pop up blocker. any other firefox users have any more suggestions? this truly sucks. =Matt 5.0= Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 I think you're seeing what you're supposed to see. The forums WILL NOT CENTER on your page any longer. They are flush right by design. See screenshot below. You should not need to scroll left-right, however. This might just be a Firefox issue...but mine seems to be flush left, as you can see in the picture. Running Safari...same problem here. Quote
Guest muddy Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 Not the Norton Anti pop up, go to anti spam and defeat the **** LOOK AT THE SCREEN PICTURE GLENN POSTED< A FE WUP< THAT AD ON TJHE LEFT HAS TO APPEAR< OTHERWISE SCROLL BAR Quote
Nicky Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 I decreased my text size in firefox and everything is centered now. Quote

I've made a partial fix for "other" browsers. [begin rant] This is why I hate Firefox. If you're a developer... you hate it. It's extremely unforgiving, causing to you to re-code entire sections of a site (like now) for one cosmetic issue for a minority of visitors. At least IE is smart enough to understand variances in coding styles. [/end rant] Quote

BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted December 16, 2007 Author BassResource.com Administrator Posted December 16, 2007 I removed the "all" links because, it turns out, that was a major cuplprit for the slowness. Quote

BassResource.com Advertiser FD. Posted December 16, 2007 BassResource.com Advertiser Posted December 16, 2007 I have several problems. One, about halfway down the screen the posts go from centered to left justify. and B, on my CP there is several pages of blank space as I scroll down to see anything. Neither a biggie but they are irritating. I love the new look otherwise. Also I am one of the 17 percent of second class citizens that refuse to use IE. Quote

Tpayneful Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 I noticed that the "GO" button is missing on the link box at the bottom that says >> General Bass Fishing. I used to click on that to get back to the main forum page. Quote
