Low_Budget_Hooker Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 Eric, don't forget the 25 mph winds. Brings us to a Balmy "feels like" 7 degrees. Personally, I love it. (aside from the dead battery, lol) I NEED a break each year, the winter keeps me hungry. This is why I know I couldn't cut it as a guide, so many people think it's "the high life" but there is so much more to it than just fishing every day. I know I couldn't fish every day and still love the sport the way I do. Kudos to the guides that never stop. Catch 'em up guys!!! Quote
bocabasser Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 Wake up folks: time to be casting a lure. This will be our playground today: man i love living in florida! Quote
-HAWK- Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 We just had a cold front move through South Florida, temps are in the high 50's low 60's and people are complaining that its freezing outside and wearing sweaters and heavy jackets. Thats the funny thing about Florida, we dont realize how good we have it because this is what we are used too. Quote
Super User MALTESE FALCON Posted December 5, 2007 Super User Posted December 5, 2007 That's cruel George. It's 21 degrees and the ground is covered with snow and Lake St. Clair has a thin layer of ice. You're killing me!!! LOL I have to wait 56 more days for my Florida vacation. Have a good day, Falcon Quote

tntitans21399 Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 Sounds like y'all all need to on get the the bid and jacket at Bass Pro that I got. It says it is good for -109, which it only gets to about 15 the coldest, but mainly 20's-30's during the winter, but the 7-10 mph winds on the lake make it feels colder. Then their is those days like last week, about 50 and very calm water. I thought I was in heaven. I got stunked and didn't have any luck, but it was nice being out their. I could have took a nap and not even have to use a anchor. Quote
