When I lived in SE Nebraska, a buddy and I would go over to a couple of borrow pits in Iowa and race to 100.  The total weight of 100 bass was probably about 70#, but was still a ball.

October 1997 while fishing on Toledo Bend my brother, nephew, & I caught 125 bass in less than 8 hours, that's an average of 41 bass each but only 25 were keepers.

Twice in my life I've caught 17 bass on 17 consecutive casts, once in a southwest Louisiana marsh & once on the Bend.

White Perch (Crappie) on the bend huh to many times to count; the limit is 50 & I've done that numerous times. Dang I need to add that to my 2008 goals!

I'm not even gonna count Bream, Catfish, Speckle Trout, Red Snapper, & other saltwater species  ;)

100+, all on a wacky watermelon red trick stick.  It was the first summer that I started using a "senko" type bait.  I think on that paticular day the fish were just as excited to see that new bait as I was!!!

*I think the larget bass may have hit 2lbs, but none-the-less it was a riot all day!!!

Best day as far as numbers go that I can remember was earlier this year, went float-tubing on my favorite smallie lake in NH, got over 70 fish, 95% smallmouth, 4% LMB, 1% slimedart.  Biggest LMB about 2.5 lbs, biggest smallie 1.5, but a great action-packed day.  They were hitting everything and anything without regard for their safety or health  ;D

My greatest day with numbers was two years ago on Stafford Pond with a buddy of mine. We have 68 fish between the two of us in 7 hours. 49 were keepers, had 27 between 2-4 pounds, and the big one went just under five. Also had a couple of two pound smallies mixed in.  :)

Greatest day weight wise was this past June. Had 14 fish between 4-6 pounds in three hours. And a bunch of other little guys between 2-4, lol. Two of them over 6. Best part was that it is a by far the most pressured lake in the state, Johnsons Pond. And every fish came off a hundred yard stretch that contained 6 docks with a coontail line off the end of the docks in 8 feet of water.

My best day for any one species was white bass.  Another guy and I had 312.  The second best day was the two of us fishing for white/striper hybrids.  We had 285 up to 8.5 lbs.

My best numbers day I took some buddies to a dink hole, I stuck about 75 in 4 hours.  After that I just got blisters from hooking so many fish.  I like going to this hole when I have to many plastics that I need to get rid of.
