Everyone on this forum taught me patience.  After reading the articles and reading the threads over and over again, I finally got it :o.  I was working my plastics way to fast.

I picked up some tips on chatterbaits from several members.

Also, had the skirt bands breaking on my jigs and spinnerbaits and was given advice by fluke on the best replacements for them.  (white and black bands, not the ambers)

Great place to pick up tips and the articles at the top of the webpage will set anyone on a right course that takes the time to read them.

My biggest grow this year, without questions, have been in the area of reel mechanics and care. It is now a hobby almost as pleasurable as fishing......thanks to Reelmech, David Green.

Another member I have learned a lot in every area of bass tackle and fishing....Raul, immense source on knowledge. Thanks you.

Thank you Glenn for running such a great site.

Thank you to all the mods for answering my questions with great advice.

Thank you to all members that have helped me become better at fishing.

The latest thing I've read is Catt's piece about winter jig fishing.  I will be trying to learn it tomorrow.

Also a second shout out to LBH's message about getting out there and practicing what you read on here.

I've learned a lot of stuff here. Too much to say just one, but if forced to I'd say this;

I learned about the bait monkey.  ;D

All joking aside, I think I learned more about different techniques and how to apply them to the equipment that is available now a days than anything else.

There are too many members and friends to thank for this, so a big "thank you" to all at Bass Resource.

Could not even come close to naming things I have learned, too many to list.

Like Lineman I have have been out of bass fishing for 20 years.  Now thanks to my 5 years old sons joy of fishing I'm back and ready to roll.

Jigs and soft platic advice has been off the charts !!!  I hope to get my chance next year to get use of a boat and put some more of the great advice to work !!

One last thing, I participate in many internet communities ( music, guitar, golf ) and this board has one of the best membership groups out there.  Very little flaming  ;), just good constructive advice.

Thanks to all !!

In my above post I neglected to mention the two most important things I've learned from this site.

1. Do not believe a word of what Muddy or Avid has to say.

2. See no. 1
