George Welcome Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 I don't know what the last week has been like in your area, but here in the East Central area of Florida we have been buffeted with winds to 45 mph and rain every day. Today it has finally broke. The sense of "lost fishing days anxiety" has hung in the air all week. I am hoping the lakes can stand all the boats that will be out there today. In the rush to satisfy that anxiety remember to not hook your fishing buddy. ;D Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 Just starting up here. Noel is passing by out in the Atlantic, making for some foul weather along the shore here. Winds of 50mph/gusts to 70 and inshore seas to 7ft. Rains will increase as the day goes on with the brunt of it hitting around dinnertime. I bet the beaches are going to be full of surfers today. Friggin' northerners ;D Glad it has busted for you GW, time to go find 'em again. Will weather like that put your fish in predictable places or do you have to go hunt? Quote
Guest avid Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 Yay, nice weather........yay. I had my final eval at P/T and I graduated with honors. Yesterday I finished installing my bass seat. I'm scheduled for major honey do's today due to Mrs. Avids Gala Halloween costume party. But Tomorrow, don't look for me CAUSE I'LL BE FISHIN'...............yay!!! Quote

Super User Sam Posted November 3, 2007 Super User Posted November 3, 2007 Wife is in hospital getting ready to be relased after her 3rd back surgery; LSU has a turkey fry at my American Legion Post to have fun and watch the Tigers clobber the Tide and I have to open and close the facility; and I have my rods and reels in my car to stop at a local pond to try my luck for an hour or so this afternoon with hopes that the doctor does not release her too fast. So I know what you guys have been going through regarding fishing and I sincerely hope all of us hit the water, either from our boats or the shoreline, soon! Glad George and Avid are 100%. Lets go fishing!!! Quote

Super User Bankbeater Posted November 4, 2007 Super User Posted November 4, 2007 We had a dry cold front go through last Thursday. I went fishing yesterday with a bright sunny bluebird sky. Low temp was about 44, but it was probably more like 37 or 38 at the lake. Highs later on in the week are expected to be in the 40's. Quote

George Welcome Posted November 4, 2007 Author Posted November 4, 2007 As soon as I thaw out I will put up my hard water fishing report - seemed hard to me anyway. Quote
Super User Bassin_Fin@tic Posted November 4, 2007 Super User Posted November 4, 2007 But did you get to take advantage of the low pressure and overcast that was blowing in from the NE the last week and a half before Noel or this cold front George? Awesome I tell you! I just couldn't resist calling off work a few days! At least in my part of western central florida it was. Still did great today 11-4 even under blue bird sky as the water temps here are around 75 still. Quote
