deepsessions Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 I took this snap the other day after thinking about the fact that I don't take enough photo's without fish(and maybe should stick to the fish photo's). Great rainbow that lasted about 20 minutes something you don't see often in Cali. Funny thing was the arches ended inside of the lake. On one end there was a group of about 100 Comorants on shore and the other was near a small point. I fished for the pot of gold at both ends and came up still broke ;D maybe next time.... Quote
Guest muddy Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 is that a FENWICK GT I SEE THERE ON THE RIGHT? Quote
slomoe Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 this is the lake pics thread, not the MONSTER fish thread!! ;D ;D j/k T-rig that place looks awsome. I was out at the Occoquan today and decided to take some flix. Quote
Super User T-rig Posted October 22, 2007 Super User Posted October 22, 2007 Here one of my secret spots! Nobody fishes here. I wish that place was mine! Quote
bass109 Posted October 22, 2007 Posted October 22, 2007 My private spot, no people around for acouple of miles 8-) Quote
Branuss04 Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 Don't have many lake pics, but this is a fun pond. I've only been there a couple times because it is such a horrible, small, twisted, narrow road getting into this small mountain community, but is well worth it. Quote
hammy2337 Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 Here a pic of the stripe mine pit I normally fish. Hammy Quote
L-Train Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 Too many to post, but i'll try. Millwood in SW Arkansas. Very under rated lake. Quote
L-Train Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 Another Millwood. This one is a baby compared to some I have seen Quote
JCrzy4Bass Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 Hey L-Train, Millwood looks like a very unique lake and one that is very fun to fish. Looks like there are a lot of elements to it. Wish we had a lake around here that had all of those fishy spots to cast into. Nice pics and beautiful fish. Would have loved to see that thing prespawn. Quote
L-Train Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 Millwood is great. You can fish about anything you want there. It is approx. 30,000 acres. You can fish cypress trees, lilly pads, hydrilla, milfoil, a big main lake, many river channels, current, oxbows, clear water creeks, muddy to stained water, clear water...you name it and millwood has it. I lived in Texarkana for a year and I will be making a few trips back there every year. Quote
Terry_ Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 Paradise WMA Tifton,Ga. A lot less water this year. Quote
jb_adams Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 I've been meaning to make a road trip to Millwood. Then I remember how many gators there are. That changes my mind. I know they usually don't bother humans but, it's the idea of something that bites back that bothers me! ;D Just this weekend, I was using a swimbait in Florida. Pulled it back and there were big huge chunks missing from it. Looked like a dog knawed on it. Whatever bit it, I didn't want any part of it. I'll stick to my clear water reservoir lake and be happy!
