Branuss04 Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 So I thought that I read something awhile back that USACproshop.net gave BR members a discount maybe when a member bought something from them, BR got some $. Am I just going crazy? any help would be awesome, because I want a bait and deciding where to give my money to at the moment. Thanks. Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted October 30, 2007 BassResource.com Administrator Posted October 30, 2007 Nope, sorry, they're not a sponsor. Our sponsor page lists all the companies that support BassResource.com. *** & * currently provide member discounts. Bass Pro Shops and Cabelas give a portion of the procedes to BassResource.com (you must click their banner 1st). And of course Bobby from MegaStrike/Cavitron/Evolution, George from Extreme Baits, and Lane & Tony from Please Release Me have been tremendous supporters of this site. All of the advertisers listed support this site, and are what make it possible. I highly encourage you to help them support us by continuing to do business with them. Thanks! Glenn Quote

Guest avid Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 USAC proshop/Oroville tackle will be getting a call from me later this morning. I ordered 5 packs of basstrix paddle tails. Now in order to get paddle tails from them you have to purchase something else of equal value. That's cool, I can understand not letting the Ebayers hose them. So I ordered a bettencourt bluegill. the package arrived and the cost of the merchandise was $99.90 USAC will ship orders of $100.00 free of shipping charges. This was not mentioned when I phoned in my order. $10.95 was added to my purchase for shipping. Needless to say, I was pretty steamed. I understand that according to the policy it was correct for them to add the charge. But what about Customer Service? I could have added a quality bait to my order and still paid less. I'll keep y'all informed on how it works out. Quote
Guest avid Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 Follow up. Spoke with Brent at Oroville Outdoors. After explaining my issue, I asked for a store credit. Brent took it a step further and said he would issue the credit to my CC for the shipping cost. I'm from Missouri on stuff like this. But I expect it will happen. Me happy camper. Now............ Let's see how those california paddle tails work on wiley NATIVE Florida Bass. (Yes, it's true. They get jet lag from the flight to Cali and you guys just need to scoop em up) Quote
rboat Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 Avid, how did those paddle tails work? I am interested in some but don't want to spend that much until I here more real results over the hype of todays hot lure. Quote

They're nice guys, and it's good to see what they're doing to keep the ebay guys from getting too many. You'll like them, they truly are great baits. You should have purchased "Mend-It" from them. GREAT Soft bait repair glue. I use it on my basstrix. Quote

Bought a bottle right after Mattlures posted how good they were for mending swimbaits and such. Fishing is impossible right now, what with Noel churning up the water with Gale force winds and torrential downpours. The weekend is supposed to clear up. Will try to get out but Mrs. Avids annual Halloween Gala is this Saturday night, and Mr. Avid is so whipped he wouldn't even dream of going fishing. Quote
