wagn Posted September 30, 2007 Posted September 30, 2007 I like to keep track of how my fishing day went by typing out a fishing report for myself. Hoping that this will help me develop better seasonal patterns and to help me remember/locate hot spots on lakes i haven't fished in awhile. Right now i'm just doing it in Microsoft word. But it's hard to put any kind of pattern together since i basically have to read through every report that i've typed for each lake. Does anyone know of any kind of fishing report program that might help me with this? I've tried anglers e-log, but it kind of sucks and seemes to delete some of my reports or get them messed up. Any help would be great. Thanks Quote
Super User .dsaavedra. Posted September 30, 2007 Super User Posted September 30, 2007 right here on bass resource along the top green menu bar, if you select tacklebox, then you can select free fishing log. ive never used it but hey, its there : Quote
CJ Posted September 30, 2007 Posted September 30, 2007 The free fishing log is a printable form to make your own log on paper. Quote
Super User Jig Man Posted September 30, 2007 Super User Posted September 30, 2007 I have been keeping a log for years on Microsoft Data Base. I track many items and can use the filter option to get reports to see what data I want. Quote
Super User Catt Posted September 30, 2007 Super User Posted September 30, 2007 You can use Microsoft Excel which will allow you to sort by any item you want, I start out writing every thing in Microsoft word and then transfer it to Excel. Quote
Red Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 i use notepad....i just write the date, weather which consists of hot or cooler....lol...then i write what i caught and what i caught it on, and where in the particular body of water example 9/25 Axtell ponds...HOT...caught one dink, one was 1.3 lbs and my new PB...4.1lbs all on 10" red shad power worm in the deep part of the small tank. "HOT" in capitals means it was really hot...lowercase "hot" means it wasnt too bad...lol...pretty simple i guess but i understand it...now i can look back next season and see what i caught and where. Super User cart7t Posted October 3, 2007 Super User Posted October 3, 2007 You could also build a very nice program using Microsofts Access. Quote
