Fourbizzle,

What did you catch that hawg on?  I assume you are in a warm weather state.  I have never heard of a fish that big up in my parts.  Was it pre or post spawn?  It's a fish of beauty.  Your drag must've been screaming when that fish took the bait.  Nice fish.

7.4 - middle of winter...

You have shorts and a t-shirt on in the middle of winter?

haha that's what I was thinking.

Actually yes... seeing that it never got very cold where I was. I love the pointless criticism tho ;)!

I caught both the fish you are talking about and the 11-4 in my avatar on oversize plastic worms. The 13-1 was caught on September 3rd of last year, about as far from the spawn as you can get here in california :) the 11 was caught this year sometime in May I think, couple months after the spawn. They never touched the drag, drags are for sissies LOL ;):D ;D

You have to stop making those posts they are KILLING ME!!! they are just so hilarious "drags are for sissies" that is an instant classic. I dont know if it is possible but it would make it the drag comment even funnier if those fish were caught on a spinning rod ;D
