tritz18 Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 Yes in mid july I was having great success fishing at a local pond catching at least 10 nice fish a trip. The past couple of trips I have only been catching 5 fish at most (all small) > Quote

Super User grimlin Posted September 10, 2007 Super User Posted September 10, 2007 I caught one fish today in 5 hours....which also happens to be my first 5#'er . This was just before the sun started to set.The past 2 weeks the only thing i could catch was carps. The bluegills wouldn't leave my lures alone either...the bass were nowhere to be found till today. BASS fisherman Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 Not to brag or anything, but since September 1st until today I have gone fishing six times and caught a total of 59 largemouth and 2 blue gill. All on artificial lures I might add. You know, not to brag or anything, ha! To answer your question, nope!! Quote
Solo Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 Real bad August up here for me too. Sept. hasn't been that good either. Other guys up here have been making the same comments about poor fishing in Southern Ontario. We've had lots of wind, very dry and hot conditions, and water levels are at record lows. Quote
