NAFC Question

First is about the books they send you. Do you have to send them any money or actually send it back? Im not paying shipping and handling for a book i didnt ask for.

Next they send me a 24$ check. Does anyone know what this is about?

if you dont pay for the book or send it back, you will continue to get letters in the mail....and they WILL get nasty after a long while.....if i were you i would either buy the book or send it back...then call them and tell them you dont want any more books sent to you, or videos, or anything that you have to buy or return...tell them you just want the magazine.....as for the check i have no clue about that

god there a bunch of cheapskates. I did the free trial, and I didnt want to join and they kept sending letters saying I would be put on some list.

When I was a member of NAFC, I always got the checks. if I'm not mistaken it is to be applied towards your lifetime membership. Just contact the club and tell them you don't want any books or videos sent to your house and they will stop also.

They have a decent magazine, but the forums aren't nearly as informative or friendly as BassResource.com. When I found this site I dropped NAFC like a hot potato.

well to get the books and products they send with it you have to fill out the product test paperwork. they dont send it if you dont. ive been a member of nafc a year. also it only cost 10 bucks for the book and you get to keep the products free. even if you dont keep the book.

also if you dont want the book they have pstage prepaid for in the envolope that comes with it all you need to do is paste the sending back sticker on the box dont cost you anything.

It's called harassment and scam....if you want to get nasty get a lawyer.What they are doing is illegal and harassment...I had the same problem.Whatever bill they try to send you...tear it up and throw it away.After while they will just stop sending anything.I've never been happier since i did this.

I just wanted the mags and somehow ended up on the book list and all that crap.They pressure you into buying the crap from them.I hate that club with a passion now.I wonder how many other anglers are going through this.

I enjoy the club and the books they send. Compared to buying a book at the store they are very cheep. However, if you call or send them a letter they will stop sending them. I dont look at it as a scam, the books are well written and the videos are well done. I like to read and have a great outdoors library and these books are worth the price for me. I believe they are a reputable club, I like them much better than the new B.A.S.S., but I would agree that this forum is the best thing to come a long in a while.

I agree with spinni boys I just got my 1st book Bass Stratigies they also sent me berkley triline xl 12 lb test as well as a package of wing it bobbers, all for 10 bucks

The first book is only $10.00, but the books they send after that are considerably more expensive, if I remember correctly they are around $27.00.
