Well, I must say I gained a lot from that, however you did miss this one critical item in the mix.

::) 8-)

The content is a tad underwhelming, and frankly, I already know most of that stuff ;D

I think you make a good point, but ultimately I must disagree.

I've re-read that several times now and just can't stop.

That should be on the articles page or at least a Sticky!

Without uttering a single word, Senile1 has generated 16 Replies!

I find the underlying implications to be a little unsettling, to say the least.

The next time you post a message that generates less than 16 replies,

you now know that your response would've been stronger if you never uttered a single word

Edward is one shrewd fellow ;)

I started this thread because there were a number of threads that began with "Everything I know about . . " and, also, because I have never caught a DD.  So I can truly question what I know about catching these beasts.   All joking aside, Fish Chris hit the nail on the head with the only serious reply in this thread.  In Northwest Missouri where I reside, 10 lb plus bass are a very rare occurrence.  A little further south at Lake of the Ozarks you will see one now and then, but not very often.  Up here the main source of these rare bass would be farm ponds.  So, unless I travel south, I just need to concentrate on big bass, period, which run around 7 and 8 lb here.  If I'm concentrating on catching the bigger bass, if or when that rare DD sees my presentation, hopefully I'll hook up.

And to once a gain attempt not to sound like a pompus A##, that was pretty much everything I know, not everything there is TO know.....I'm no posing as an outdoor writer used car salesman like that other fellow who posted so much here a few months back. And I gotcha...all in good humor....and thats how it was taken ;D ;D ;D. I realize I laid it out there and opened up to some poke funnin'

Everything I know about catching Double Digit

Ok, here 's the deal about what I know:

If you are not there it 's never going to happen, so stop spending your time in front of the darned PC and go try catch a big one.

Which brings me to a next point in saying I 'm plain sick 'bout Fish Chris posting his big feesh and humbling us all away.

Ok FC, beat this one !!!!!!:
