brgbassmaster Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 sounds awesome have to ask the wife.. Quote
jeremyt Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 I may have to check this one out depending upon date and location. I just found out that I am going on recruiting duty (USMC) and have no clue where in the US I will be next year. Maybe a good fishing trip would be good send off. Quote
Super User Gatorbassman Posted August 14, 2007 Super User Posted August 14, 2007 The dates will be sometime between the end of the Bassmasters Classic and the first FLW or BASS tournament. So it will be early March. Quote
cdabelow Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 I cant wait whereever we go I'm in...Bring on the big fish!!! Quote
Guest avid Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 If it's early March, then it's gotta be in the deep South or So. Texas. Anyplace North of that can be risky in terms of weather. Let's start a pool. winner gets one drink bought for him by all attendees. Great. Even though I would prefer Bama, my gut tells me Lake Amistad is where the boss is gonna pick. Next............... Let's go to Canada and do some ice fishing. : Seriously, there's no choice but the Southern tier of states and the Southern Pacific and Atlantic coasts, so the choices are limited. I would think Alabama would have as good a chance as any. Quote
Super User Catt Posted August 14, 2007 Super User Posted August 14, 2007 We could all camp out in avid's back yard Quote
Brian_Reeves Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 screw that, I got shotgun on the couch. Texas would be easier for me, but I can probably swing anything all the way out to bama or flordia, depending on if my nazi chain of command will give me a 4 day and a pass. I'm sure it won't be a problem. Just let me know so I can start making plans. Hopefully I'll have a boat by then. It won't be new, but it will have room for a person or two...hopefully Quote
Troutfisher Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 sounds awesome have to ask the wife.. That, my friend, is the biggest stumbling block for most members going... ;D Quote

tallydude Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 What about Lake Toho? Great big fish live there, it's an easy flight to Orlando no matter where you live, and the weather is always pleasant in February/March in Central Florida. Quote
