Guest avid Posted August 9, 2007 Posted August 9, 2007 Don't forget the dropshot rig, and the weightless senko. Quote
Super User Sam Posted August 9, 2007 Super User Posted August 9, 2007 ...and the wacky rigged Senko and finesse worms. If the fish are deep what about a crankbait or a suspended jerkbait? Jig may work, too. Let us know how you do and what worked best. Quote
brgbassmaster Posted August 10, 2007 Author Posted August 10, 2007 id ont know how i am supposed to fish deep from the shore unless i wade out a little bit. but ya i will let you all know how i do. Quote
Bass_Akwards Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 Buzzbaits in the early morning and also at dusk from when the sun goes down below the tree line untill after dark. Look for weed beds and cast a weedless senko near it. Don't be afraid to fish the shore at high noon with senkos, brush hogs, and other soft plastics. From 11:00-2:00 is a great time to fish for big bass. Especially because half the fishing world thinks fishing during the day is worthless. How wrong they are! Todd Quote
BadKarma42 Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 C-rig to find structure, perhaps you can reach out and touch someone with the extra weight. Find the cover you would normally fish from the boat, except you are now fishing it from a different angle. Quote
brgbassmaster Posted August 10, 2007 Author Posted August 10, 2007 hey thanks for all the hlep. Quote
Taliesin Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 snip.... trying someflipping maybe idk if thats possible from shore but any help would be great. Flipping from shore is possible. Something a lot of people don't think about is that you can sneak up on fish that are holding on the shoreline. If you ever see anyone "stalking" up to shore to fish, don't think they are stupid. It can be done and can get you some really nice fish. It does work best in stained (or murkier) water where the fish can't see you. Some of my better fish have come from sneaking up on a tree and flipping or pitching under it. Quote
