Super User roadwarrior Posted February 8, 2007 Author Super User Posted February 8, 2007 Well, ten is probably how many I need, too! How many lures do you "use"? Not counting jigs and soft plastics, I doubt that I will use ten different lures at Lake Fork. So, I'm just trying to narrow the selection down to one-hundred and fifty hard baits and about the same number of soft baits. That's reasonable, isn't it? Quote
Super User RoLo Posted February 8, 2007 Super User Posted February 8, 2007 For decades I toted around Raul's truckload of lures (actually two truckloads: one for my wife and one for myself). Only after merciless culling was I able to condense those two monstrosities. Today, the bulk of my bassing is done with "10 basic lures" and I carry them in one small tackle box. Eight out of ten are weedless, soft-plastic lures; I shrunk my hardbait arsenal to a pulp (and luvin it). Surface Lures: 3 Mid-Water Lures: 4 Bottom Lures: 3 Roger Quote
