deep structure

I am looking for tips on how to find deep structure in a big pond without the use of electronics.

If there is no map available (and since it's a pond I guess not) you could throw a carolina rig. This will allow you to survey the bottom contour by feel and help build a mental image of the structures you come across.

I don't know how deep you mean but I probe do 70' with a jig.

Yup, heavy jig will tell you how deep and dragging it slowly tells you if it's grass, wood or rock down there.
