blackrose55x Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 Try different lures, different retrieves, and different spots, like cover, points, and drop offs. But most importantly... Keep trying, dont give up!!! Quote
WhiteMike1018 Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 Answer the following questions and I maye beable to give some advice. What type of cover or structure? (i.e) weeds? rock? pads? wood? How deep is the lake? Is there a sharp dropoff? what is the water clarity? (i.e) 2-4 foot visibility? what techniques were you using in the spring to catch the fish? And..what was the 2 1/2 pounder caught on? Quote
Super User Sam Posted July 30, 2007 Super User Posted July 30, 2007 You may want to post your query within the geographical areas in this forum pertaining to areas to fish. Maybe someone has fished the body of water and can offer you some suggestions. Quote
fishingdude41791 Posted July 31, 2007 Author Posted July 31, 2007 im guessing that the deepest spot of the lake is 25ft, and thats way out in the middle of the lake. there are a couple drop offs that go from 3ft to about 12ft. the water is actually lower than normally because the spillway is open. water clarity is about 3 or 4 feet. the lake is pretty shallow, its about10-15 ft deep between the bank and 20yards out in almost all the spots. ive been fishing all over the lake its not that big, you can walk all the way around in 20minutes probably. but ive been using jigs, senkos n spinnerbaits mostly Quote
fishingdude41791 Posted July 31, 2007 Author Posted July 31, 2007 i forgot the mention the type of cover, its mostly milfoil. Quote
