tips for some super pressured fish?

i got a T this weekend on a lake i never seem to do very well on. its stained maybe 2ft visibility and max around 15ft deep. lots of dock and some drops and a flat also one half of the lake is like endless lily pads. anyway this place gets pounded non stop. its a whopping 170ish acres 25% of which is basically unusable 1.5ft lilypad water. and unlimited hp.  anyway im thinking about finessing it but im new to this type of fishing. any tips for me? i was thinking a 4" zoom finesse worm on either an ikey head or a split shot rig. not sure why one would be better then the other... or a drop shot.

i threw a 5" senko with 2 bass, 1 tiny one keeper but i lost it. and i got 1 other on a yum wooly hawgtail.

what advice can u guys give, its gonna be a 20ish boat fleet on this little body of water also

endless lily pads, go use some frogs and your favorite cranks

the endless lily pads are to thick to get thru. youcan reallyonly work the edges. i was thinking about making a push pole tho and trying it

work those jigs in the lily pads if its that thick and other weedless lures. Good luck and post you catch. 8-)

Heavy pressure means the latest and newest lures. Why not go for old standbys? The fish probably haven't seen a Rapala floater, a Dare-Devle or a Jitterbug in years....

well i was thinking a original floater myself, the jitterbug i still use and dare devil you mean the spoon?

I'd go all weedless and throw them deep in the pads and pull it back. Maybe try a horny toad. I'd def. go out with a SK Zero, and if that doesn't do it, get a Zoom Super Hog and try the same thing. I'd also try a shallow shad rap 4 ft. outside the edge of the pads.

I would fish those endless lilly pads and I would either go with floating frogs or go with a tube with a heavy weight and peg the weigh or use one of the screw in type worm weights.

If you are still thinking about trying light tackle and going small I'd try throwing a weightless trick worm and dead stick it just on the edges of the pads.  Cast into and onto and just pull it over the edge and let it set when you can't stand just waiting for it to fall anymore wiggle the rod tip and make the slack line dance.  Then hang on cuz oh man do they love to smack a "help less" little worm.

I would dropshot a 3 or 4 inch worm that is weedless or fish a small jig and cast it in the lillies and just pull it over the top untill it falls in and let it sit jerk it a couple of times then reel to the top of the lillies and continue.

Also try throwing on the pads and once it drops off the edge keep it coming and don't slow down. It just depends on if they're aggressive or not.

Also try smaller baits during the least busiest times.

I would fish the main lake channel or at least on the deeper drop offs this time of year and watch your depth finder for deeper structure, as in wood, rock piles, grass or humps, and get away from the bank beaters. Use a Ika, T-Rigged worm, " Alabama Rig " ( Ball head jig and Trick Worm ) or a mojo and 4" worm or Zoom Centipede in Watermelon or Green pumpkin. If you chose to fish the pads, I would use a black 1/2 jig and a Zoom Flippin Blue or Sapphire Pro Chunk, or a 4" Black Neon tube rigged with a 4/0 hook and a pegged 1/4 oz bullet wt. I like the heavier stuff this time of year because it rushes by the fish on the fall and at times it can drive them into a reaction strike. Don't forget a buzzbait over the submerged grass in the early hours. IMO
