Valascus Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 My biggest bass I have ever brought in was 4lb 9oz., don't have a pic of it unfortunately since I wasn't in the practice of bringing a camera with me (didn't have my digital yet anyway). That was almost two years ago. I have been trying to break the 5 lb mark ever since then. Caugt it on a Zebco 33 (my only rod at the time) and a texas rigged ZOOM! 7" Pumpkin/Chartreuse U-Tail Worm working the worm through a large weedbed lining the bank. Pretty much ruined my reel. ;D Quote
armesjr Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 4lbs on a 10inch moccasin colored culprit worm. Click the picture for a bigger image. Quote
-badhabit- Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 Very nice bass & Great job everyone! I didn't get started until the beginning of April this year because of my boat remodel I've only caught 5 between 10 lbs & 11 lbs 6 oz so far, but have caught 24 bass over 8 lbs since April. I won't bore anyone by reposting any pics because most have seen them anyway (Outing and S.E. forums), There will be plenty more before this year is over to post later. Keep up the Great work all! Super User David P Posted July 2, 2007 Super User Posted July 2, 2007 Some of you guys who catch such big fish, shouldn't be allowed on these forums, you put us to shame!! Haha, I was pretty happy about my 6lb 1oz bass this spring, but jeezus 12lbs, and 11lbs, and 9lbs, all wonderful fish guys! Oh well, my 6 1oz was on a 5" *** watermelon seed. Here's a picture of the second biggest that came close, but a broken old scale kept me from getting a reliable weight. Quote
G3-Basser Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 5 lb 2 oz in my avatar pic. I was hoping to score big this year, but Spring really stunk for me. I've caught some decent fish (4-5 lbs), but no monsters. -J Quote

I believe that you may get the wrong impression from most of the Southern & Western fishermen. Most of us have the utmost respect for all fishermen from around the globe and the skill they have in catching bass. There are Great fishermen everywhere and in some regions it takes just as much, if not more skill to boat 6 lb -7 lb bass on a regular basis. I for one Salute all of you for setting goals and doing your best to reach them. This isn't a big bass contest. It is a place where fellowship and a common love for fishing brings us all together to share. Again, Great Job to All & God Bless, Dave Quote
Super User Bankbeater Posted July 3, 2007 Super User Posted July 3, 2007 A LM that went 5-4 on 5-26-07. I got him on a watermelon candy Zoom z-nail. Quote
