Super User Hookemdown. Posted June 15, 2007 Super User Posted June 15, 2007 What would you consider the perfect fishing trip. Considering lake, location, weather, equipment, time etc...? Quote
msmonroe Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 Hmmmmmm. Texas has many fine lakes. I'd say a couple of uninterupted days on Lake Fork, or maybe Amistad would be pretty dern cool. Come to think of it though, that trip I had last month fishing for Peacock Bass on Lake Wilson in Hawaii is gonna be hard to beat. - Matt Quote
SDoolittle Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 You know, I've traveled all over the country and fished in some of the most popular destinations, but to me the "perfect trip" would be to go back to Oklahoma and fish all those farm ponds I grew up fishing. I go home to visit every couple of years, but most of the properties are in different hands now and I don't have access. Quote
Bass Smacker Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 Any day i can get out and fish is perfect. Just some are more perfect than others.. Quote
Cajun1977 Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 three days in lakepowell with a spinnerbait bite goin like crazy, and topwater action in the morning Quote
eastkybass Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 Mine would be any chance I get to go out with my family. We don't get to do it very often so to see all of my kids out there enjoying themselves is pretty good to me. Quote
moloch16 Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 Hook up with Bill Dance and fish those private lakes. 4 lb+ on every other cast ;D Quote
brian_82 Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 Mine would be somewhere out on a Northern lake, New england or Canada. With me being the only one on the lake, 70 degree weather with fall crisp in the air, fog coming off the water. Quote
ronster71 Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 Any trip is perfect, with or without any fish, just being on the lake and relaxing with my son, my father, or a good friend...the fish are just an added bonus. To me, there is no better way to get rid of all the everyday stress, which makes each trip perfect. Quote
bassbob08 Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 Id like to take myself and my wife to Elsalto just once in our life time. Quote
Super User Hookemdown. Posted June 15, 2007 Author Super User Posted June 15, 2007 I will agree that every fishing trip is perfect (but some are better than others) My perfect trip would have to be on beautiful lake powell, but with a AWESOME topwater bite going. Quote
