One of my friends first got me into fishing about 2 years ago.  He practically taught me everything.  But as  I've learned on this site, I've been able to explain to him things he never knew about.

Things like fish behavior, fishing deep, etc.  He'd never thrown a jig or crank before in his life before I met this site.  Now he absolutely loves fishing jigs.

Anybody here got a similar story?

Here's mine:

My brother hated to fish (the last 27 years of his life).  He asked to fish with me a few months ago.  I taught him how to fish and he nailed his first bass on a Zoom lizard.  We went 4 weekends in a row and he caught a few more...  Now he loves to fish!  The bad part of the story is... he moved to Alaska (for work).  The great part is... he asked me to visit and fish for species I have never caught before!   :)
