Bobby Uhrig Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 It has been brought to my attention that David Guidice has been acting inappropriately again on several bass fishing sites. I have given him every opportunity to clean up his record and actions. As we all know Megastrike, as well as many other fishermen on the boards tried to help him out in the way of free product and gifts. It was all done with the best of intentions. I had just written a letter to David and he has officially been terminated from any affiliation with MegaStrike Inc. It is sad and I regret to do this to anyone but our reputation is at stake here. As much as we fool around and have a good time with everyone- we will not jeopardize the integrity of my company. It is also to uphold the integrity of the forums and sites we use to further the sport of bass fishing. I thank you all for your time and concern. Bobby@MegaStrike Quote
Big Tom Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 Wow. I figured you would have let him go after the shenanigans he pulled last year. I forgot all about that even happening until just now. I will say that you have got to be a class act after all that happened with this dude. You truly did give him more chances than most would have. I am sorry it had to come to this. P.S. Thanks for taking time out to personally talk to me on the phone to help me properly tune my Cavitron. Its been a fish catching machine since. Quote
toolpush Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 What? You have to tune the cavitron. Why and how? What do you mean by this. Is it supposed to be high C?(joke) But really are you talking about the way it runs or what? Quote
Big Tom Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 Yeah it was terribly out of key and sent the fish scattering! I happened to get one that was slightly bent (the wire right at the head was just a touch off) and it ran sideways with the skirt up next to the blade. I PM'd him on here and he gave me a number to call. HE answered the phone and walked me step by step through checking to see if everything was straight and it didn't take him long to correctly diagnose the problem. Did a little bending with his instruction. I took it to the lake later that evening and it was almost perfect. Had to tinker a little more but I got it figured out. Without his instruction, I wouldn't have known where to begin. He also told me that if that didn't work to let him know and he would send me two for my troubles. Pure class. Quote
toolpush Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 Thanks, I bought three last year and only fished with one so was just curious. Quote
