Dirk_Jig---Lure Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 Everyone, on behalf of my family, i thank everyone for the kind words. The responce from a bass site isn't usually taken so personally but although I don't post here much, you all know me as LBH's best friend and partner in crime in his videos. EVEN STILL, with my limited presence, you guys step up and say some very comforting things. My wife has read this also. Like Russ said, if 1 person wears a pfd more now, than it wasn't all in vain. From the Jordans- THANK YOU Bassresourers Quote
LCpointerKILLA Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 Thats awful. I've capsized a couple times sailing and just that is a scary situation, even with life jackets and the warm Florida water. What a horrible way to go. They will be in my prayers, GC Pondman Quote
hi_steel_basser Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 Hey, Dirk, I just saw this. I will keep praying for your family, and put my life jacket on alot more. Quote
Redtail Posted May 8, 2007 Posted May 8, 2007 Russ - Please tell Eric how sorry I am to hear about his loss. Quote
grid Posted May 8, 2007 Posted May 8, 2007 I'm sorry to hear about these two men. I have to say I fish in my boat without a PFD. Not very smart. This is sure a wake-up call. I have already looked in my BPS mag. @ PFD. This sounds like a good thread to start. Maybe if a topic is started about PFD's. Different kinds. How they work. Which one's work the best. Fit the best. Anything to do with them. Maybe a dumb butt like me will wear one all the time. Quote
The Unabasser Posted May 8, 2007 Posted May 8, 2007 Terribly sorry to hear Dirk....our thoughts are with you and your family during this time Quote
