DEISWERTH Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 Do you think bass will still hit a crankbait (or any other type lure) if the hooks get fouled with weeds? I've always wondered when I "feel" something on my line and can't rip it free, if I should just keep on working it in or just reel as fast as I can to get it back and clean it off. Whats everybody else do? Doug Quote
RobDar Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 I feel the action of the lure is important. This is why presentation an important part of fishing. The weeds ruin that. Quote
Guest the_muddy_man Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 I had this condition once, the doctor gave me a real unpleasant ointment to apply>>>>>>>>>>ah I did it agian! Sorry I misunderstood the Question>>>>>>>>my mistake Quote
Super User Marty Posted May 6, 2007 Super User Posted May 6, 2007 I think a fish will hit with a few weeds on the lure if they don't affect the lure's action. I'll stick with the retrieve if the lure feels normal to me, otherwise, I'll get it in fast to clean it off. Quote
