Do you think bass will still hit a crankbait (or any other type lure) if the hooks get fouled with weeds? I've always wondered when I "feel" something on my line and can't rip it free, if I should just keep on working it in or just reel as fast as I can to get it back and clean it off. Whats everybody else do?

I think a fish will hit with a few weeds on the lure if they don't affect the lure's action. I'll stick with the retrieve if the lure feels normal to me, otherwise, I'll get it in fast to clean it off.
