CJ Posted May 5, 2007 Posted May 5, 2007 IMO,it's the structure that seems to be most important. I fish offshore in the summer months.Never a visible cover or structure. There are brushpile, grass, rockpiles, and stumps all over the lake I fish.It is the structure and water depth that help pattern the fish I catch, such as bends, horseshoes, points, and humps. Super User Alpster Posted May 5, 2007 Super User Posted May 5, 2007 I do best in timber and layed down trees in 6-8 feet of water. Ronnie Quote
Super User Jimzee Posted May 6, 2007 Super User Posted May 6, 2007 I do best in flooded timber and rip-rap in 13 feet of water. I know that is weird but there is something about that 13 foot mark. :-? Quote
hi_steel_basser Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 I like to find wood on the end of a point. Or on the side of a hump. Quote
