That depends on two factors, water temperature which incubates the eggs and how the schedule of the spawn has taken place, not all the fish in the lake spawn at the same time, the spawn period can take anywhere from two weeks up to two months.

I was going to ask this very same question...

That depends on two factors, water temperature which incubates the eggs and how the schedule of the spawn has taken place, not all the fish in the lake spawn at the same time, the spawn period can take anywhere from two weeks up to two months.

I get that for all the bass to spawn can take a few weeks.  But how bout this.  Once a female is on a bed, how long does she stay there?  And once they hatch and the male is guarding the fry, how long will he stay there?  I understand that it depends on water temp, etc.  But are we talking hours, days or weeks?
