Low_Budget_Hooker Posted March 31, 2007 Author Posted March 31, 2007 I was waiting for Glenn to post so I could add to his thank you's. Art- From the New England group in particular. Thanks for the lifts to and from Fork at such crazy times. Thanks for taking out some members and even putting them on fish. Thanks to You and Mary for putting us up on Thursday night and thanks in general for just being you. Brent- Thanks for the boat use, the great camaraderie and for matching Glenns $25 BPS cards with ***. Great gesture, great friend, thanks. Flechero for building me my favorite rod ever. I even caught on it right away. I never catch on a new rod. RW- I owe you a coffee, what are you doing next weekend? lol Glenn/Keri- Thank you for the BPS card, maybe I'll buy a baitcaster,.....lol (actually, big white spinnerbaits with gold blades look pretty good right about now, lol) Thanks Corey- sorry for the oversight, of course there's love, lol TO ALL WHO ATTENDED FOR JUST BEING YOU. Super User Catt Posted March 31, 2007 Super User Posted March 31, 2007 What's up & how y'all are? I've been busy lately, 2 guided trips to the big pond, 1 guided trip to a local marsh, & 1 salt water trip. Plus inventory at work I've been reading every thing but haven't had time to respond; you guys have kept me sane. Quote
bighed Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 Very cool video LBH, thanks for putting it together. The Duke of Mook, now that's going to be hard to shake, lol. Congrats to Glenn for his hog, I knew I'd miss the good stuff when I had to go back to reality. I think there's going to be a bumper crop of fishermen for '08. I know I'll be there for the duration next year. Maybe I could be allow to smoke up some bbq for the group or something. bert Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted March 31, 2007 Author Posted March 31, 2007 Maybe I could be allow to smoke up some bbq for the group or something. bert I think we can let you do that..lol Seriously, the food was awesome. Great job chefs!! Having a bbq thrown in the mix would be the cat's meow. You may be cooking for quite a few more people next year though Quote
Bassassasin12 Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 awesome stuff glenn,triton21, nboucher and LBH. It sounds like there were some very dedicated people commited to making this trip a success. How about Lake Champlain for the 08' trip??? ;D ;D Seriously though, I will have a license by then and I am already saving up 50 dollars a week for next years trip...NO EXCUSES! BassResource.com for life Quote
cpvenom Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 I'd say, "I'm going on a fishing trip with a bunch of people I met on the Internet," and they'd say, "Are you crazy? You're going into backwoods Texas with people you met online? For a week? Are you nuts? The Internet is full of chat-room sickos!" I've had similar experiences also. My friend is convinced that Senko77 is a 40 year old man and will rape me when we finally meet up to fish. ;D Quote

Super User flechero Posted April 1, 2007 Super User Posted April 1, 2007 Knowing this video was posted was my motivation to get the new computer hooked up and rollin'. I came home from fork and the wife said "I think we have a problem" So now I'm getting used to windows vista, on a MUCH faster computer. (I saw that the video was up when I checked from work... but couldn't get time to watch it from there) L_B_H, Great job on the video, thanks for all the hard work! I can't even tell you how much fun I had!! Glad you like the new rod. I even caught on it right away. I never catch on a new rod. I "pre-loaded" it with mojo for you. Quote

skiper Posted April 1, 2007 Posted April 1, 2007 Lake Fork video was great. Wish we had water like that here in So Cal. The closest we have to that is about six hours to the Sacramento Delta. You can keep the gators though!!! Quote
Guest the_muddy_man Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 Best thing to control the gators is to get a bunch of wiseguys to move in THEY HAVE A THING FOR MAKING SHOES OUTTA THEM Quote
