A front is rolling through Houston right now, hopefuly it will be a week or so for another. Temp in my lake is about 70 degrees and the fish are very aggressive. I know several guys that have been killing them on Conroe. I got a feeling you guys are going to do well on the Fork. Good luck and enjoy Texas. If you come back next year, I'm all in.

Thanks for the good wishes GMAN. For my part, everything is in order and ready to load into the Suburban on Sunday morning. I've got two quick stops to make and then I'm headed for Fork - ready to rip some lips. The trip should take no more than five hours, which equates to about $70 in gas for my guzzler. My problem is that I've got all day tomorrow to do nothing but wait. I guess I'll practice my pitching and flipping. I categorically refuse to allow the Bait Monkey to coerce me into heading for Academy or BPS ... although I really could use ... IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HE'S GOT ME AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After a grueling spell with long, long days at work and then a race home to finish some painting inside my house so the family doesn't have to deal with furniture all over the place, I was finally ready to pack tonight after work.

Only problem is, after a hairy ride through snow and ice, I got home and saw the snowplow had barricaded my driveway. Threw my stuff in the house, fired up the snowblower and started moving the concrete disguised as snow and ice. Then I moved furniture back into the room I finished painting at midnight last night. At least I made a packing list at the doctor's office a couple of days ago while waiting for him to lance an infected finger that ballooned up and wouldn't quit. I'm telling you, am I ready for Fork or what???

Accuweather is calling for temps in the low 70s and mostly sunny at Fork for the next few days.

One last hurdle: I have be on the road to LBH's house by 3:15 Sunday morning.

I'm gonna drive over tonight and say hello to Kelley (Triton 21).   Kelley was there last year.    Hopefully, I'll get to meet some new forum members.

This morning was chilly, but the sun is up and warming nicely with a light north breeze to start.

I would expect some nice reports today with yesterday clearing and sunny for most of the afternoon.

I'll try to post some pictures late tonight.
