Just letting everyone know who the new guy is. I'm Rob, from Tomah, WI. I've been an angler since I was a kid. It is the typical grandpa started the fever story. I now have 2 wonderful children of my own, and a very supporting wife. I haven't had much time in the last few years to fish since I've been focused on racing, but I do get out, and after a little accident I think it's time to go back to Bass!

Anyhow, if anyone is in the area and wants to get together for an outting, hit me up!

Meh, nothing major. Just one bad knee out of the deal. It needs surgery, but I'm a pansy.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! I've actually been looking, lurking, and reading for a few months. I have a LOT to learn from everyone! I'm actually hoping to get into low level tournament fishing in a couple years, but it's going to take me a while to get even that good.

But, with the resources I've been finding here, and lots of pracice, who knows what will happen!

Welcome cheese head. Iam from the Wausau area two hours north east of you on 39. We should try to get together this summer and fish.

Hey, welcome to the site. Sorry to hear about your injury. Somewhat small or not, knee surgery is no fun. But at least you can still fish. I hope you enjoy the site. And i like to fish up in northern wisconsin and while im not sure where tomah is, im guessing we could give eachother input on some spots. Looking forward to getting to know you.

welcome, I feel your pain. I raced sprint cars for a few years till i had a nasty wreck and left me banged up for months. I have been out of racing for few years now and enjoying the fishing a lot more.
