Technically my biggest is 8.75 lbs.  I caught a bass the same day i believe was much bigger, but i was being really really dumb and let it jump back into the water out of the boat......but can't complain with an 8.75 lbs. bass ;D

7-2  SM on Lake Erie

Believe I caught a Lm 2 years ago over 8lb, but did not have a scale that day, so the 7-2 SM is biggest recorded. Both caught in PA.

Should also say where the fish was caught. A 5lb bass is big up north, but a 5pounder down south  or out west is  not that big

Guess I'm pretty lucky. I have stick marsh in my backyard. I've caught fish on a hand scale that were over 14lbs and a handful more over ten shiner fishin. I was also a guide up in the boundry waters out of Ely MN and have caught several smallies over 5.

8.5 lbs. caught it in august of 06 on a chatter bait. Wished I had caught it in the spring, massive head and mouth on it. Still waiting to put that 10 pounder or better beside him.

love fishing in my home state of GA!!!!!

Biggest ever was 8 3/4 lbs on an electric blue tube lure. No pics, b/c my dad put the camera down on our way out of the house. Grrr.

Biggest last year was 7 1/2 lbs on a chartreuse pepper tiki stick. I had the camera with me that time, but I was fishing solo. I was fishing out of my old jon boat and had to run up on some fellahs that were fishing out of a big bass rig to ask them to take a few photos for me. I got the evil eye for a moment, until they realized what I was up to. They were gracious enough to snap a few pics and I passed along my fishing pattern for the day.
