Learn to fish from the boat (just got mine in the water this year). 2. JIGS!!! 3. Pitching and flipping. 4. Patience 5. Theres a few knots I wanna get down. Thats a start. Quote

Super User fourbizz Posted November 4, 2006 Super User Posted November 4, 2006 I like the 5 fish over 10. But my main goal will be a 13+. Just upping the bar... That is a great goal my friend. They are truly gorgeous, I just barely broke into the teener category with mine, but I am there darn it! I spent the whole year shooting for a ten. I think it could be pretty tough for me to reach my goal, but you have got the location and drive to make yours a real possibility dude, can't wait to see the hog shot! Quote
CrazedL.IFisherman Posted November 4, 2006 Posted November 4, 2006 mine are with many of you and the jig fishing, i want to do better with deep running crankbaits, and locating and learning how to find bass according to depth finders that is when i purchase one, just a side note but i hope they hook up easily to his canoe Quote

Super User Catt Posted November 4, 2006 Super User Posted November 4, 2006 My goal for 2007 would be to make a trip some where for some small mouth fishing I just can't decide on where. :-/ Quote
Bassassasin12 Posted November 4, 2006 Posted November 4, 2006 1. New PB of course, gonna be tough my PB is only 1 pound 4 ozs of the lake record that I got it on. 2. Master Jigs and Deep Diving Cranks 3. Fish 10 Tournaments 4. Finally get that first boat 5. Have a ton of fun! ;D Quote
FatBoy Posted November 4, 2006 Posted November 4, 2006 My first goal is to learn jigs, too. I can't believe how many people are saying the same thing. For me it's because I read Bassmaster and FLW Outdoors and just noticed how many tournaments are won on jigs. My second goal is to catch a 5 pounder. The fish in my avatar is my PB and it's only 2-8. I've gotta do better than that. Twice this year a buddy hauled in a 5 pounder while fishing right beside me. I've gotta get me one... Quote
Tom Bass Posted November 4, 2006 Posted November 4, 2006 My goal is learn Lake Norman a bit better and to also do some Striper fishing this winter. I also plan to get a decent bait caster reel and rod and practice casting and retreiving. I am not a fan of bait casters but I am willing to learn. Quote
