hawgchaser Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 This is probably the lure I am most excited to try this year. The key to catching smallies on my lake is keeping the crankbaits in the strike zone long enough. I am thinking these crankbaits are going to be the cats rear for this. I bought several of the DD22 that will suspend at 15-18'. Has anyone had success with these? http://www.***.com/descpageHDCNORMAN-DD22S.html Quote
BUCKEYEone Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 I have wondered the same. I'll be watching this thread! Quote
Uncle Leo Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 I have a 29.5 Walleye mounted on may office wall using this bait. (No not Canada here in Illinois). I have caught numerous Bass and Northern Pike fishing for Bass in deep clear water suspending above weeds. This bait excels suspending over weeds. As you tick the weeds rip and suspend they will wack it. I have about every color made of these. I guess they are a good bait and love the price. They work well adjusting depth by line weight. Does not seem to effect action like some smaller baits when moving up in line weight to run shallower. They do not tend to hang up like other baits. Quote

hawgchaser Posted February 10, 2009 Author Posted February 10, 2009 Thats a great Walleye, congrats! I like norman cranks but I really think this suspending bait will be a beast on Rocky drop offs. I simply can't wait to throw these!! Quote
